Children Ages 3-4

Our children's ministry begins at the age of 3 years old. This early developmental stage of life lays an important foundation for learning and is an integral part of our approach to reaching our kids with the gospel message. Our primary focus for the children in this age range is teaching them the very basics of God's Word in a fun and memorable way. This typically involves very short teaching sessions that are followed by craft projects and art. This creates a lasting memory for the child and gives them something to share with their parents, further reinforcing the teaching. In addition to focusing on the Biblical teaching, we are also teaching the children how to properly behave in a learning environment. And, of course we conclude each lesson by rewarding the children with snacks.

Children Ages 5-10

Once children reach 5 years of age, they are moved into the main Children's Church group. This is where we really begin to work on teaching our kids the important Biblical truths that we hope will shape their lives. Given the large developmental difference between this age range, children are divided into smaller groups for the actual teaching sessions. This allows the teacher to develop age appropriate material to ensure that the lesson can be clearly understood by all children. In addition to age appropriate teaching material, we regularly utilize other methods of presentation, such as puppets, live drama, storytelling, and videos to further enhance each lesson.

Youth Group - Middle School & High School

Our Youth Group is aimed at continuing to reinforce sound Biblical truth and to maintain a consistent godly influence in the lives of our teens. The teenage years can be very tumultuous and often present a real challenge to the faith of those that have grown up in church. Youth Group provides our teens a place to build positive godly relationships that can help them deal with the many pressures and temptations that they are sure to face during these difficult years. Our sincere belief is that sound Biblical teaching, combined with discipleship and godly relationships will equip our teens to not only survive the teenage years, but to prosper and be fruitful in the Kingdom of God.
